About the Speaker

Gabrielle Muller (MAR ’20 Yale Divinity School) is a photographer and filmmaker working in and around New York City. Much of her work investigates the way generational memory relates to public and communal narratives about self and other, and the function of shame and secret-keeping surrounding expectations about sexuality, gender, and class. She recently completed a graduate degree in theology and visual art from Yale Divinity School, and her photography exhibit, Seminary, is currently on view at Yale Divinity School’s Sarah Smith Gallery. Her award-winning film, Crossroads of America, was released in 2020.
