Politics and Social Justice: Conversation with New Yalie Congresswoman Carolyn Bourdeaux ’92

This meeting will be conducted on Zoom.  Instructions will be provided upon registration

You are invited to join the Yale Club of Washington, D.C. and the Yale Club of Georgia for a private conversation with new Yalie Congresswoman Carolyn Bourdeaux, Morse College ’92.  The discussion will be focused on the role and responsibilities of politicians in social justice reform.


About the Congresswoman

Congresswoman Bourdeaux lives with her family in Suwanee, Georgia and represents Georgia's 7th Congressional District.  Before her election to the U.S. House of Representatives, Carolyn taught as a professor of public management and policy at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University, and has served in a number of public service roles during her career. 

Congresswoman Bourdeaux earned degrees in history and economics from Yale, a Master’s degree in public administration from the University of Southern California, and her Ph.D. in public administration with a focus on public finance from Syracuse University.
