Women Giving Back supports women and children in crisis on a first step to stability by providing quality clothing at no cost, assisted by a caring and committed community. Volunteers can restock the boutique and accept and sort donations in the warehouse.

Volunteer Requirements

The minimum age to volunteer at WGB is 12 years old. Volunteers between the ages of 12-15 must have one adult chaperone for every five volunteers. Youth unaccompanied with a parent/guardian must provide a waiver slip signed by a parent/guardian prior to volunteering. Digital waivers are emailed to the parent/guardian on record when their child registers.

 
All volunteers will be required to create their own volunteer accounts with Women Giving Back (including children 12 years and older).

The Yale Club of Washington, DC offers this event to our supporting members and alumni.  However, we do ask for your support in one or both of the following ways: 

1)      Please become a supporting member if you are not one already. 

2)      Donate to the Yale Club of Washington, DC (see option on registration page). 

Membership dues and donations are both critical income sources for the Club, which enable Club operations, programs, and financial viability.
