Volunteers assist our ReStore staff collecting and receiving donated materials, pricing and stocking items on the store floor, cleaning and organizing, as well as with displays, sales, customer service, and donor appreciation. Volunteers are integral to the operations of the ReStore which help us achieve our mission to provide affordable homeownership opportunities to families in Northern Virginia.

All volunteers must be at least 16 old to volunteer at the ReStore.
If you would like to stay longer than the shift you've signed up for or leave earlier, speak with the staff once you arrive at the store.
If you need hours for community service, please let the ReStore staff know so they can walk through the sign in and out process with you to ensure you get credit for the hours you volunteer. You are responsible for getting your hours verified with a staff member at the end of each shift. We ask for two business days to provide verification for volunteer hours.
