Discover where chocolate comes from! Under the direction of a JCrafts Chocolatier, participants learn the process of making chocolate from scratch. Hands-on activities include roasting, deshelling, and grinding cacao beans! Supplies and tools are prepared on individual tables.
“You are what you eat", Learn fun facts about the kosher diet, the multi-billion dollar kosher food industry, and the meaning and messages behind popular kosher delicacies.
Create your very own chocolate creations! Using cutting-edge technology, participants mold kosher-themed and fun items out of chocolate while exploring the role that food plays in Jewish culture. It’s a hands-on, gastronomical adventure! Participants take home an overflowing bag of freshly molded, mouth-watering, dairy-free chocolate.
This event is family friendly, and children over 8 years old are invited to attend with an adult.
