Begin Spring and again return to the Kiplinger Gallery, the longest running venue of all our events.
The Kiplinger Gallery includes selections from the Kiplinger collection shown in changing exhibitions. This collection comprises over 5,000 items, including prints, paintings, and photographs, most of which feature Washington architecture. You will also find maps and period, political portraits.
The “Vanishing Washington” collection includes watercolors and photographs. This expansive collection originated in the 1920s when W. M. Kiplinger, a young reporter new to Washington, bought a single old Washington print for his small office. As the success of Kiplinger's newsletter grew, so did his collection of Washingtoniana.
Reservations: $25 by check to Steve Piekarec, 2535 West Meredith Drive, Vienna, Virginia 22181, by Monday, March 22th. Metro: There are 2 Metro Stations within 4 blocks, Farragut North (Red Line) and Farragut West (Orange/Blue).
For those driving, street parking is available nearby, but be aware of the new DC parking rules (parking meters until 10PM). There are also parking garages nearby (check on closing times).
The Ivy Singles Social Club (ISSC) is a coalition of Ivy League, Seven Sister and other prestigious schools' regional alumni associations that sponsors social activities. Our events are open to all single alumni of member schools and their guests.
